The Sandy Lee Songfest, Inc. is excited to announce that we’re now accepting grant applications for our 2021 Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival. On behalf of the committee and board, we have decided to progress forward with planning our 2021 festival in July and remain committed to providing grants to our local non-profits. The deadline for submission is January 15, 2021 and can be submitted via mail to: Sandy Lee Songfest Inc. PO Box 651 Henderson, KY 42419.
The funds will be awarded after the completion of the 2021 festival that is set for July 28th – 31st in Downtown Henderson. The grant application is available through our Facebook page and website at sandyleesongfest.com. Our 2020 grant recipients included: Volunteer & Information Center, Henderson Area Arts Alliance, Henderson Boys & Girls Club, Henderson County Diabetes Coalition, Substance Abuse Program at Henderson Detention Center, Habitat for Humanity, and Father Bradley Women & Children’s Shelter.
