RICK MINTON          73       OF HENDERSON

DIED TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2020 AT HIS HOME.  HE SPENT 27 YEARS WITH KENTUCKY WATER PATROL IN HENDERSON AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES AND WAS A CERTIFIED GUNSMITH FOR 53 YEARS.  HE WAS ALSO A YOUTH BASKETBALL COACH AND EDUCATOR IN OUTDOOR SPORTS. 

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 51 YEARS      JOEY MINTON

1 DAUGHTER           JULIE PARK OF EVANSVILLE

1 SON            JOSH MINTON OF EVANSVILLE

1 BROTHER              EDDIE MINTON OF HENDERSON

1 GRANDDAUGHTER AND 2 GRANDSONS

 

PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES WILL BE HELD

BENTON GLUNT AND TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS

DENNY LEE BUMPUS         83       OF HENDERSON

DIED NOVEMBER 29TH AT DEACONESS HEART HOSPITAL IN NEWBURGH.  HE WAS A 30-YEAR MEMBER OF ZION BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE HE SERVED AS A DEACON.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 2 SISTERS, BETTY JUNE CHANDLER AND PEGGY SHOULDERS AND A BROTHER, JAMES CARROL BUMPUS.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 60 YEARS      RUTH ANN BUMPUS

1 SON            DENNY DWAYNE BUMPUS

1 SISTER        MILDRED JEAN SIGLER

2 BROTHERS            JOHN WILLIAM “BILLY” BUMPUS AND LARRY RAY BUMPUS

1 GRANDDAUGHTER, 1 GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE

PATSY ZETTLER HITE          79       OF MORGANFIELD

DIED TUESDAY AT HER HOME.  SHE WAS A DIXON HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE.  SHE AND HER HUSBAND FOUNDED SAM’S UNA PIZZA IN MORGANFIELD, WHICH SHE OPERATED FOR DECADES.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, RONNIE HITE, HER SON, SAMUEL HITE, BY A BROTHER, THOMAS ALLEN ZETTLER AND A SISTER, LINDA ZETTLER CLARK.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 

1 BROTHER              JACKIE ZETTLER OF DIXON

1 GRANDDAUGHTER AND 1 GRANDSON

 

TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME IN DIXON IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS

SHE WILL BE ENTOMBED IN FAIRMONT MAUSOLEUM HERE IN HENDERSON
