LONNY E. SPARKS              64       OF HENDERSON

DIED FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2020.  A U.S. ARMY VETERAN, HE HAD WORKED FOR PITTSBURGH TANK AND TOWER AND FORMERLY FOR THE SUGAR MILL.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 8 SIBLINGS, DEWAYNE SPARKS, CARLON SPARKS, JAMES SPARKS, RANDY SPARKS, WILLIE SPARKS, EARL SPARKS, WANDA FREDERICKS, AND CLAIRE TRENT.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE       JUDITH HIMMEL SPARKS

1 DAUGHTER           LONNIE FAYE SPARKS

1 SISTER        JANIE MEEKS

9 GRANDCHILDREN, 6 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

DIED SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2020 AT HER HOME.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND OF 65 YEARS, JOSEPH “JOE” THERIOT, WHO DIED IN 2018; BY A BROTHER, PRICE TODD, AND BY A SISTER, ALMA MULLINS.

1 BROTHER              TOMMY TODD OF FLORENCE, ALABAMA

DIED FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2020.  HE MANAGED HOMETOWN INSURANCE FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE SONS OF AMERICAN LEGION, POST 243.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY GRANDPARENTS, CLINTON EAKINS, AND WILLIAM “BUDDY” AND MARY DANIEL.

CHARLES GALE HANCOCK    77   OF GILBERTSVILLE, FORMERLY OF THE SEBREE/ONTON AREA

DIED FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2020 AT LOURDES HOSPITAL IN PADUCAH.  HE WORDED 23 YEARS AT ALCOA AND THEN WENT INTO POLICE WORK FOR 10 YEARS AS A DEPUTY SHERIFF OF WEBSTER COUNTY AND THEN CHIEF OF POLICE OF SEBREE.  HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE MOOSE LODGE AND THE SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION SANTA CLAUSE POST 242.

HIS LOVING WIFE OF 29 YEARS              CHERRY HANCOCK

4 SONS          CHUCK HANCOCK, RICK HANCOCK, STAN HANCOCK AND DOUG HANCOCK
