DIED SUNDAY, JANUARY 3, 2021.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE, MARY FRANCES GROSSMAN WOMACK AND A DAUGHTER, KAREN SUE WOMACK.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

1 GRANDDAUGHTER         AMANDA WOMACK SCHIMUNEK OF KASSELL, GERMANY

 

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO JACK’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 9 TO 11 AM THURSDAY, JANUARY 7, 2021 AT BENTON GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, WHERE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AND THERE WILL BE LIMITED SEATING

A FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN FERNWOOD CEMETERY

SANDRA “SANDY” COBB BOWEN          68       OF HENDERSON

DIED SUNDAY, JANUARY 3, 2021 SHE ATTENDED HENDERSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL AND GRADUATED FROM STEPHENS COLLEGE IN COLUMBIA, MISSOURI.  SHE WORKED IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AT GAMCO PRODUCTS, A DIVISION OF MASCO CORPORATION, AND AT BIG RIVERS ELECTRIC CORPORATION FOR 17 YEARS.  SHE WAS ALSO EMPLOYED AS A HUMAN RESOURCE EXECUTIVE FOR 17 YEARS BY ANN TAYLOR CORPORATION IN LOUISVILLE.  SHE SERVED THE HENDERSON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AS VICE CHAIRWOMAN OF MEMBERSHIP AFFAIRS AND WAS A BOARD MEMBER OF THE SOCIETY OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN EVANSVILLE.  SHE ALSO SERVED ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LOUISVILLE THEATRICAL ASSOCIATION (BROADWAY SERIES) AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE FILLIES, INCORPORATED, SUPPORTING THE KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL AND THE INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION OF WOMEN’S FORUM.

HER COMPANION              TOMMY JOE FRIDY

2 SONS          CHRIS BOWEN AND ROB BOWEN

1 BROTHER              MAURICE COBB

6 GRANDCHILDREN

DIED THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2020 AT HER HOME.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, PETER GRISHAM, BY 2 STEPSONS, A STEPDAUGHTER AND BY ALL 15 OF HER SIBLINGS.

                                      DOTTIE FULTON AND LINDA JONES, ALL OF EVANSVILLE

8 GRANDCHILDREN, 14 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 2 PM WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6, 2021 AT BENTON GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME

BROTHER TERRY GABLIN WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN FAIRMONT CEMETERY

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO ANNA’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 11 AM TO SERVICE TIME WEDNESDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME WHERE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AND THERE WILL BE LIMITED SEATING
