Henderson County Schools will continue to be on a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day for today Wednesday, February 10th.

Tonight’s Henderson County Colonel basketball game against Bosse is canceled. Tonight’s home wrestling match has also been canceled. At this time no makeup dates have been announced.

The Henderson Community College will be a remote work & learn day today. Face-to-face and hybrid classes will not meet in person. However, students should refer to specific communication from instructors on the class format for today. Student services will be provided remotely. Campus buildings will be closed.
The Evansville Vanderberg School Corporation is closed today (Wednesday, February 10). They will utilize a state-approved waiver day for this cancellation, so there will be no virtual assignments made or make-up day scheduled for a later date. Because school is closed, juniors will not be taking the ISTEP today and freshmen, sophomores and seniors will not have an E-Learning day. ISTEP testing will be rescheduled. This includes students in the EVSC Virtual Academy.
Owensboro Catholic Schools are closed today, Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
The University of Southern Indiana campus will be closing at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, February 10. All instructional activities, in-person and virtual, are canceled after 3 p.m. Students who have classes scheduled before the 3 p.m. closing time should make the safest decision for themselves regarding travel. Virtual, non-instructional events planned for this evening may continue, but in-person events are canceled.
The Henderson Family YMCA will close at 4 pm today.

From Henderson Circuit Court Clerk Herb McKee – drivers license testing is on a one hour delay and court times will be the same as when held virtually.
The Free Tax Site at Christian Community Outreach scheduled for 4 to 6 pm today will not be open.

Because of hazardous road conditions and a forecast for more treacherous weather, Henderson Area Rapid Transit (HART)
is suspending service today, Feb. 10, at noon. If conditions allow, routes will resume at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11.
The City Board of Zoning Adjustments meeting scheduled for this evening has been postponed due to icy road conditions. The meeting will be rescheduled when conditions improve.

Green River District Health Department prioritizes the health and safety of our citizens and employees. Due to the Ice Storm Warning, issued by the National Weather Service, all Green River District Health Department clinics and offices in our seven-county service area will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 11, 2021, including COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
