Henderson County Schools will continue to be on a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day for today Thursday, February 11th.

All Henderson County School Childcare Centers are closed today.

Grab&Go meal pickup or delivery will be Friday from 11:00-1:00 p.m.

Tonight’s Lady Colonel Basketball game at Hancock Co. is canceled.

Holy Name will be closed today, Feb. 11th. No childcare will be available

Union County Schools will be using virtual learning today and tomorrow Feb. 11th and 12th and staff will work remotely. Monday, Feb. 15th will also be virutal for students as previously scheduled.

Webster County Schools will be on virtual learning again today.

The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation is closed today, Thursday, February 11th. They will utilize another state-approved waiver day for this cancellation, so there will be no virtual assignments made or make-up day scheduled for a later date.

 

The Henderson Community College will be a remote work & learn day again today. Face-to-face and hybrid classes will not meet in person. However, students should refer to specific communication from instructors on the class format for today. Student services will be provided remotely. Campus buildings will be closed.

The University of Southern Indiana campus is closed today.  All instructional activities, in-person and virtual, are canceled. Essential personnel should work with their supervisor to determine work status.

Kentucky Wesleyan College classes will operate remotely today. All campus offices will be closed and Dining hours will be adjusted from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

The Gathering Place has again announced there will be no meals delivered today to homebound clients. There will not be any congregate meals at the center as well. Homebound clients are advised to use their emergency meals.

All Salvation Army Facilities are CLOSED today including the Family Store, Social Service Office and the Soup Kitchen!
Most City of Henderson offices except for Police, Fire, and essential services of Public Works and utilities will not be operating today because of hazardous conditions.
Trash collections today are delayed due to safety concerns – the Thursday route will now be collected tomorrow along with the regular Friday routes.
The Henderson Landfill & Transfer Station has closed for the rest of today.
Henderson Area Rapid Transit (HART) will not be running routes and will re-evaluate conditions on Thursday afternoon to decide when to resume services.
Today is a payment due date for some city utility customers – Drive-Thru will be open but there will be no penalty for late payment.
The Henderson County Courthouse will be closed for business today, Thursday, Feb. 11. The courthouse will reopen as soon as is reasonably possible.
The Henderson Circuit Court Clerk’s office is closed today however all court cases are heard REMOTELY and will be held ON-TIME “as scheduled” Thursday.
Driver’s License Exams will be rescheduled to next Thursday.
Evansville City Offices & the Vanderburgh Co Superior Court will open TODAY (2/11) at 10:00 am.
State offices are closed today -Employees able to telecommute and essential employees designated for mandatory operations should continue to report to work as directed by agency management.

The Henderson County Clerk’s Office will be closed Thursday, February 11, due to weather/road conditions.

The Henderson Boys & Girls Club will be closed today, February 11th, due to inclement weather.

The Habitat for Humanity Restore and affiliate offices are closed today

The Henderson County Public Library is closed.

Hugh Edward Sandefur will be closed again today but is offering virtual learning on Zoom.

Audubon State Park is currently closed. The museum is also closed. They will reopen once travel conditions improve.

Christian Community Outreach is closed today, Thursday, Feb. 11th.

The Henderson County Extension Office is closed today. You can use their Facebook pages, email, or cell phones if you need to reach them.

COVID-19 Testing is closed today (February 11) at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

All Green River District Health Department clinics and offices in the seven-county service area will be closed today, Thursday, February 11th, including COVID-19 vaccination clinics. Patients that had an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination will be contacted by phone to reschedule their appointment as soon as possible.  

No early morning classes today at the Henderson Family Y – The Y will open at 8 am.

Gibbs will open for business with the first shift today.

Both locations of Dixon’s Appliance in Henderson and Morganfield are closed today.
