There will NO instruction in Henderson County schools tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 16th. This will be a snow day for students and staff. Dr. Lawson says it’s time to give students, parents, and staff a break and enjoy an old fashioned snow day.
There is no HCS childcare today.
Both the Lady Colonel game against Elizabethtown and the Colonel’s game at Louisville Male tonight have been canceled.
The regular Henderson County Board of Education meeting set for tomorrow, February 16, 2021, is being rescheduled to next Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Since this is a rescheduled meeting, it will be treated as a special called meeting.
Holy Name School will be closed to in-person instruction tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16. We will use this day as an NTI Day.
Union County Schools will be using virtual learning today, Feb. 15th, and staff will work remotely.
In Webster County this a professional development day for school staff, so students are getting the day off with no new assignments.
EVSC schools are closed today in observance of Presidents Day
Henderson Community College is Closed in observance of President’s Day.
Due to inclement weather, HCC will be remote work & learn days February 16 and 17. Face-to-face and hybrid classes will not meet in person. However, students should refer to specific communication from instructors on class format. Student services will be provided remotely. Campus buildings will be closed.
The University of Southern Indiana campus is closed today. All instructional activities, in-person and virtual, are canceled. Essential personnel should work with their supervisor to determine work status.
Kentucky Wesleyan College classes will operate remotely today. All campus offices will be closed and Dining hours will be adjusted from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
Vincennes University is announcing that offices in Vincennes, Jasper, and Fort Branch will close at 12:00 noon, EST today, Monday, February 15. The LRC and Rec Center on the Vincennes campus will also close early, at 3 PM EST. VU will have remote instruction for Tuesday, February 16th in Vincennes, Jasper, and Fort Branch.
There will be no meals on wheels or congregate meals at The Gathering Place today in observance of President’s Day.
Henderson Area Rapid Transit is suspending service effective at Noon today. They hope to resume service at 9 am tomorrow depending on the weather.
JUDICIAL CENTER CLOSING AT 1:00pm Monday Feb. 15 and all day Tuesday Feb. 16. ALL Court Sessions are REMOTE and you must continue to call-in as scheduled!
Henderson County Courthouse will be open Monday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. After Monday, the courthouse will open again as soon as the weather permits. They urge Henderson County residents to stay safe, travel with caution and yield to road crews.
Henderson County Recycling is closed today and tomorrow, Feb. 16th due to inclement weather.
Henderson County Public Library is closed today, Monday, February 15th.
Habitat of Henderson affiliate offices and ReStore are closed today.
The Henderson Family YMCA is closed today.
The Hugh Edward Sandefur Center is closed but offering virtual learning.
UK Extention Service Office on Zion Road is closed today.
Audubon State Park is closed.
Henderson Christian Community Outreach WILL BE CLOSED Monday and Tuesday due to the incoming weather and safety concerns for our volunteers and the families we serve.
