Gregory Powell Fridy, age 66 of Robards, KY died Monday July 19th at his home while under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
He was a retired riverboat Captain having worked for Ohio Valley Marine Service for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susan King Fridy,
Mother, Emojean Fridy Pennington of Onton, KY,
2 Sons; Trent Douglas Fridy and Jacob Powell Fridy both of Robards,
1 Brother Charles E. (Gloria) Martin of Lexington, KY,
1 Sister; Kathy Crowley of Onton, KY,
3 Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday July 22nd, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, KY.
Brother Bret Eblen will officiate.
Burial will follow in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY.
Friends and family may call 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice for Greg Powell Fridy.
