FRANKFORT, KY – Bruce Pritchett of Henderson County filed papers this week with the Kentucky Secretary of State’s office declaring his candidacy for Kentucky State Senate District 4, which consists of Caldwell, Crittenden, Henderson, Livingston, Union and Webster Counties.
Bruce recently retired as Director of Agriculture for Brenntag Midsouth, but has not retired from supporting his community.
In a statement issued today Pritchett said, “I want to lead this area — which is rich in natural resources and good work ethics, and is a strong agriculture community with fantastic education facilities — to develop and train our workforce for future economic development. I know that because of my background of business development and working with major companies across multiple industries that I am the right candidate for the State Senate.”
He continued, “We have the components to make a positive difference in our community through growth and with strong representation at the Kentucky State Senate. I will listen to the people and respond to your concerns.”
Pritchett, a Democrat, is seeking the seat currently held by first term incumbent, Republican State Senator Robbie Mills of Henderson who is expected to file for re-election soon.
