building hope in the community.
The second race, HCC’s Run 4 The Hill, is a 4-mile run/walk that will take place on HCC’s campus on
Saturday, May 21st
. The 4-mile race will begin at 8am with a 1-mile fun run/walk beginning at 8:10am.
Both courses are wheelchair accessible with a water stop offered on the 4-mile course. Medals and awards
will be offered for participants in the 4-mile race. Funds raised from this event will go towards funding
future campus races, student events, and outreach programs.
“We are thrilled to work alongside Habitat for Humanity as part of the 42420 Duo. They have been an
amazing community partner in helping us with the logistics of putting on a race. It is so exciting to be able
to invite people back to campus to take part in this new HCC event.” says Kara Becker, Race Coordinator
and HCC faculty member.
Sign-ups for each race are offered individually, but a discounted rate is offered when signing up for both
races.
