OVAL Board of Directors and Henderson Tourist Commission Board of Directors has formed a committee to begin the search for the next Executive Director/Curator
OVAL Executive Director/Curator Jordyn Myracle has submitted her resignation for the position she has held for the past five years. Myracle will stay in the position and will train the incoming director through the transition period.
In the past five years that Myracle has been in the role, she has been involved in many community related arts initiatives and has provided a record number of opportunities to both local artists, the community, and visitors in the realm of art and culture..
“Jordyn has put OVAL in an excellent position going forward and grew the organization by leaps and bounds in her 5 years,” said OVAL Board President, Alex Caudill. “Without her vision and collaboration with the Tourist Commission, the new Gallery 101 at the Depot would not exist. We can’t thank Jordyn enough for all her hard work and dedication to the arts.”
Over the past five years, OVAL’s annual membership, which serves as the largest source of operating income for the organization each year, has reached record heights. Myracle’s passion for the arts and serving the community has allowed the arts organization to grow and thrive in all areas.
Myracle said, “This has been one of the greatest and most unique opportunities I have been given and it has truly been an honor to learn and grow with OVAL the past five years as Executive Director/Curator.” She continued, “I look forward to seeing OVAL continue to prosper. As I reflect back, I am so thankful that I was able to play a small role in this organization’s timeline of greatness.”
OVAL and the Henderson Tourist Commission have formed a committee to begin the search for the next Executive Director/Curator. Interested individuals should email their résumé with two references to Board of Directors President, Alex Caudill, at alexander.caudill@gmail.com by April 22, 2022.
