Henderson, KY, May 5, 2022 — St. Anthony’s Hospice is one of only four programs in Kentucky
to be named a 2022 Hospice Honors Elite recipient.
This prestigious annual review recognizes agencies that continuously provide the highest level
of quality care as measured from the caregiver’s point of view. It acknowledges the highest
performing hospice agencies by analyzing quality indicators throughout the organization.
“We received this award because of the compassion, talent, spirit and hard work of our team
and it really speaks to the dedication of our staff and the extraordinary care we provide,” said St.
Anthony’s Hospice Executive Director, Kendra Marsh. “To have received this honor during a
year our team was also coping with a pandemic makes it even more meaningful. We are
humbled that the families we served rated our care at the highest level. Our team works
tirelessly to ensure we are providing the best patient experience and the best care possible.

Award criteria was based on Hospice CAHPS survey results for an evaluation period of October
2020 through September 2021. Award recipients were identified by evaluating performance on a
set of 24 quality indicator measures. Performance scores were aggregated from all completed
surveys and were compared on a question-by-question basis to a National Performance Score
calculated from all hospices in the country.
Hospice Honors recipients include those hospices scoring above the National Performance
Score on 20 of the evaluated questions. Hospice Honor Elite honors hospices scoring above
the National Performance score on all 24 of the evaluated questions.
