HENDERSON, KY, September 7, 2022- Work in two separate areas of the City of Henderson will prompt a closed intersection and restricted traffic lanes on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Henderson Water Utility will be working at the intersection of Barret Boulevard and U.S. 41-North starting at 7 a.m. on Sept. 13. The intersection will be closed except to traffic exiting Barret Boulevard to turn north onto U.S. 41-North. The work on that project should be completed by 4 p.m. that same day.
Also, work in the 200 block of First Street in downtown Henderson to repair a few “dips” in the pavement will begin at 7 a.m. on Sept. 13. The eastbound lane of First Street will be partially closed from the First Street entrance of the Henderson County Courthouse to the First Street entrance of Henderson Municipal Building. That work also should be completed by 4 p.m. that same day.
