Sue Owens, 76, of Henderson

Died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at her home.  A member of the Pentecostal faith, she had worked at Pioneer Plastics for 25 years.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Ward and by a brother, Donald Rigdon.

Survivors include:

Her husband of 38 years, Roger Owens

1 Daughter, Sharon Jones of Henderson

4 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and several Great-Great Grandchildren

 

Funeral services will be Monday, December 9, 2019 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield

Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice

Barbara Jean Gish, 82, of Henderson

Died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at her home.  A 1954 graduate of Niagara High School, she was a longtime member and Sunday School teacher at Bellfield Baptist Church.  She had worked at the Hosiery Mill and retired from Aeroquip Corporation.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gish and by two sisters, Phyllis Givens and Pam Bowers.

Survivors include:

1 Son, Matt Gish of Niagara

2 Sisters, Linda Hallmark and Janet Nunotani of Mililani, Hawaii

2 Grandsons, Nieces and Nephews

Funeral services will be noon Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Bellfield Baptist Church

Brother Glen Morris will officiate

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the church

Tomblinson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or to Bellfield Baptist Church

Teresa Jane LaPradd, 66, of Geneva

Died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at The Lucy Smith King Care Center.  She worked for 18 years for the Henderson County School System in the cafeteria.  She attended Haven Pentecostal Church.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Clement.

Survivors include:

Her husband of 50 years, Randall LaPradd

1 son, John Calip LaPradd of Little Dixie

The grandson they raised, John Bradley LaPradd of Geneva

Her father, Cledith Clement and his wife, Sarah, of Henderson

2 Sisters, Darla Townsend of Henderson and Shirley Bills of Lexington, Tennessee

1 Brother, Kenny Clement of Henderson

7 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Benton Glunt Funeral Home, A Life Celebration Home

The Reverend Phil and Andrew Wagoner will officiate

Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery

Family and friends are invited to Teresa’s Life Celebration from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Reverend Willard Clement Family Life Center
