HENDERSON, KY, January 3, 2022– Beginning Wednesday, February 1, 2023, Henderson city and
county residents will be required to show proof of residency to continue using the Solid Waste
Transfer Station free of charge.
If residents of the city wish to use the Henderson Solid Waste Transfer Station without cost, they will
have to present a City of Henderson Utility bill to prove their residency in the city. The same goes for
Henderson County residents except they’ll need to show a Henderson County Water bill.
There will be a $5.00 charge for anyone who visits the facility with an un-tarped or un-strapped load.
This is to help reduce the amount of litter along the roadway both on Wolf Hills Road and on HWY 41
and the southbound bridge.
For more information, please call David Steele, Sanitation Superintendent, at (270) 854-2064.
