The Player of the Game was Bravette senior point guard Madison Morris as I was able to ask Madison a few questions in a short interview after the big win for the Bravettes. The first question I asked Madison was how she performed in the game individually and she responded with this, “I feel like I did good. In the beginning, my emotions in this big game kind of got to me, pressure (was) on, so I was a little nervous but once a few shots went in and got a few stops on defense I got my confidence going and settled in a little bit.” The other question I asked her was what she knew about their next opponent in Christian County Lady Colonels on the road on Tuesday night, January 24th, and Madison responded with this, “I know Christian County is good. They’re a team that might surprise you if you don’t come in ready to play them. They play really physical, they’re really athletic and quick, so we’ll just have to be mentally ready for that more than anything.”

The Bravettes next game is Tuesday night, January 24th, on the road at Christian County at 7:30 P.M. while the Lady Trojans face off against the McLean County Lady Cougars on the road at Muhlenberg County at 1:30 P.M. today in the Farmers Bank & Trust Lady Mustang Classic.
