Henderson Police Department and River Valley Behavioral Health will hold a free Narcan giveaway from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the Salvation Army, located at 1213 Washington St. in Henderson.
The two agencies said that last week’s Narcan was so successful that they decided to hold another one this week.
No identifying information will be requested at the giveaway. Two doses will be given per person present.
Narcan can be administered during a drug overdose to help the person overdosing. The police remind everyone that using Narcan does not eliminate the need to seek medical attention after being administered.
