Henderson County sets spring clean-up dates

Henderson County has set its spring clean up dates for the following locations:

1. Niagara Fire Department: This site will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1.
2. Baskett Post Office and Park: This site will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 14th and Saturday, April 15th.
3. Smith Mills Fire Department: This site will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th.

This is for Henderson County residents only, no businesses.  Items accepted included: car and truck tires (strict limit of four per household), furniture, metals, appliances (any appliance containing Freon will have to have the Freon removed before bringing it to the site).

The following items will not be accepted:

1. No paint of any kind.
2. No hazardous chemicals of any kind.
3. No tractor or ag tires.
4. No household trash.
5. No tree or storm debris.
6. No concrete.
7. No commercial debris.
