		<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Betty Harper, age 103, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Homeplace of Henderson surrounded by the love of her family.</p>
<p>Betty was born and raised in southern Illinois. She raised her family in Henderson and spent many years as a homemaker. Betty worked as a hairdresser and was a talented cook and seamstress.  She was a charter member of Hyland Baptist Church, was the first to be baptized there, and was recently honored as the oldest living member.</p>
<p>Betty spent her last few years being lovingly cared for by the staff of Homeplace of Henderson. The family will always be grateful for the staff that Betty considered family. Last, but not least, Betty adored her furry feline companion “Tiger”.</p>
<p>In addition to her parents John and Nelle Rogers, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Edward Harper; grandson Bradley Keith Riecken; siblings: Alberta Ann Harper, Kenneth Rogers, and Marilyn Williams; daughter in law Terri Harper; nieces Delores Ford and Margaret Harper.</p>
<p>Betty is survived by daughters: Janice Irene Kingery (Jeff) of Maricopa, AZ, Connie Sue Yates of Henderson, KY, and Larissa “Lisa” Schmidt (Ken) of Henderson, KY; son Lawrence “Larry” Edward Harper of Daylight, IN; grandchildren: Robert Abbott (Tracy), Chris Riecken, Alicia Roe (Greg), Michael Riecken (Melanie), Lance Harper, Barton Yates (Ericka), Meredith Yates, Andrea Sherrill (Zach), Alison Lankheit (Dave), Tess Austin (Chris), and Luke Harper (Sue Ann); great grandchildren: Todd, Jeremy, Nicholas, Zachary, Cory, Ashley, Ava, Jayden, Maddie, Katie, Sawyer, Conner, Eisley, and Trace; great great grandchildren Harper and Emerson; nieces and nephew: Lynn DeKemper (Danny), Becky Harper, and Dale Williams (Shelby).</p>
<p>Relatives and friends are invited to Betty’s Life Celebration from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Benton-Glunt &amp; Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY and again on Thursday from 9:00 until service time at Hyland Baptist Church in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the church with the Reverend Kenny Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.</p>
<p>Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Hyland Baptist Church, 1400 Wright St, Henderson, KY 42420.</p>

		<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Janet Dianne Peercy, of Henderson, Ky, passed away on Sunday, March, 22, 2026, at Redbanks.</p>
<p>She was born in Slaughters, Ky on January 7, 1948 to the late Rev. James W. Williams and Ruth Helen (Taylor) Williams.</p>
<p>Janet was of the Pentecostal Faith and had been a member of Haven Pentecostal Church for 48 years. She loved the Lord and loved to pray with others. She was employed at Colonial Terrace in Sebree, Ky as the dietary supervisor until an auto accident in 1983.</p>
<p>Janet found joy in cooking, shopping, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love that will live on through her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as “Nana” and “Grand Nini.”</p>
<p>In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her 2 daughters, Cathy Diane Lowrance, and Tara Juanita Taylor; and her sisters, Madelyn Maddox and Carolyn Goldsberry.</p>
<p>She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Ira Curtis Peercy; her 2 sons, Dewayne Peercy (Ramona) and James Peercy (Sharon); 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. 4 sisters, Betty Graham, Linda Matthews, Patricia Patmore, and GiGi Gentry; 2 brothers, John Williams and Roy Williams.</p>
<p>Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Janet&#8217;s life on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the service time at 3:00 PM at Haven Pentecostal Church in Henderson, Ky, with Rev. Phillip Wagoner, Jason Lawson, and Frank Nalley officiating.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Haven Pentecostal Church Building Fund.</p>

<p>Vernon Rondell McCraw, Jr., age 52, of Morganfield, KY, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home.</p>

<p>Vernon worked at McDonalds from 1993 until 2015. He enjoyed hunting deer and fishing at Daisy Mae Lake in Morganfield. Vernon loved everyone with all his heart and was super funny. He had a great personality, that his family loved.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Vernon was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Sr. and Carolyn Lamb and his brother Donnie Joe McCraw.</p>

<p>He is survived by his wife of 36 years Debra Winters-McCraw of Morganfield, KY; daughter Alicia Sargent of Nashville, TN; sons Austin McCraw (Sara) of Princeton, KY and Drew Rigdon of Morganfield, KY; sisters Angela Manley (Eddie) of Clarksville, TN and Melissa Stackhouse (Michael) of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren: Aleyna Sargent, Landon Sargent, and Tucker Sargent; father-in-law Reverend A.G. Winters of Henderson, KY; nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Relatives and friends are invited to Vernon’s Life Celebration from 11:00 a.m. until the service time on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Benton-Glunt &amp; Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Reverend A.G. Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.</p>

<p>Russell Lee Lemon</p>
<p>Russell Lee Lemon, age 86, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 7:39 pm, Friday, March 20, 2026, at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Russell attended Henderson General Baptist Church and loved the Lord. He was previously employed at Halliburton Services as a field supervisor for over 20 years before establishing his own business, B&amp;L Oil Field Services. Russell was known as the mayor of Sunrise Court and enjoyed filling his role as servant to people in need. He enjoyed vacationing in the Smokey Mountains with his wife Wanda, being active in his church and loved his grandchildren. Russell had great personality and was a stranger to no one.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Lemon, brothers: Raymond, Darrell, and Don, his grandson Matthew Lemon, and his granddaughter Brittney Jewell.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Russell is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Wanda Lemon; sons: Rick Lemon (Tracey) of FL, Bruce Lemon (Debbie) of AL,  Alec Hensley (Julie) of Henderson, KY and Chad Hensley (Heather) of Poole, KY; sister Wanda Holland of Henderson, KY; grandchildren: Julie, Rebecca, Phillip, Chelsae, Jessica, Logan, Mitchell, Katelyn, Whitney, Courtney, Bradley, and Grace; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Relatives and friends are invited to Russell’s Life Celebration from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday and again on Tuesday starting at 9:00 am at Henderson General Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Henderson General Baptist Church in Henderson, KY, with Rev. Alec Hensley, Rev. Chad Hensley, and Rev. Logan Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.</p>

		<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kenneth Dale Ballard, age 64, of Henderson, KY, passed away at his home on Monday, February 23, 2026.</p>
<p>Kenneth was a proud veteran of the United States Military. He served in the Navy and was active during the Global War on Terror. Kenneth worked at Red Spot Paint and Varnish Company for more than a decade where he was well respected. He was an avid model builder; fine scale models were his passion. He specialized in armored vehicles and wartime air and land craft. Kenneth was extremely witty and well read. He was hyper intelligent and had an answer to any question. He was known for his ability to quote any line from a movie he only saw once or could recall the most random trivia. Kenneth was a firearms enthusiast and an excellent shot. He was a good man, a reliable brother, and a great father.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his father Dwight Zane Ballard and his step-father Kurt Dold.</p>
<p>Kenneth is survived by his daughter Amber Phoebe Barnes (Dylan) of Morganfield, KY; son Andrew Ballard (Kendall) of Chattanooga, TN; his mother Dolly Dee Dold Ritter (Merle); sister Cathy Lynn Dutt (John) of Rockwell, TX; brother Keith Ballard (Wanda) of Henderson, KY; several nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>Relatives and friends are invited to Kenneth’s Life Celebration from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Monday at Benton-Glunt &amp; Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY. 		<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thomas Edgar Duncan, Sr., age 79, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Thomas served in the United States Army Reserve in the late 1960s and early 1970s.  He retired from Alcoa Aluminum in 2000 after having worked for 32 years. Thomas  had a stroke on the golf course while vacationing in Scottsdale, AZ, yet still enjoyed his retirement years golfing, cheering on his adored UK Wildcats, and maintaining his yard with love.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Thomas was preceded in death by his infant son, his daughter Rita Duncan, parents  Bowman and Viola Duncan,  sister Betty Hagan, and brothers Phil Duncan and Truman Duncan.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Thomas is survived by his wife of 59 years Mary (Rudy) Blanford Duncan of Henderson, KY; daughter Jackie Durban (Steve) of Morganfield, KY; son Thomas Duncan, Jr. (Tara) of Morganfield, KY; 4 grandchildren: Tyler Durban, Tiffany  Willett (Dustin), Olivia Goben (Nate) and Trey Duncan; 4 great grandchildren: Liam Willett, Lynex Willett, Shayne Goben and Thatcher Goben.</p>

<p>Relatives and friends are invited to Thomas’  Life Celebration from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday and again from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at Benton-Glunt &amp; Tapp Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m.  on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the funeral home with Father Richard Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson, KY.</p>

<p>Born December 17, 1982, in Henderson, Ky. Wes was the son of Glenn and Bonnie Kerr.</p>
<p>Wes was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and an adult Sunday School class teacher. He loved watching and listening to his daughter Ally sing and cheering on his daughter Eva at the ballfield. Wes loved to woodwork and travel with his family. Wes was a big UK Wildcat fan.</p>
<p>In addition to his parents, Wes is survived by his wife, Melody Kerr, his two daughters, Allyson “Ally” Kerr and Evalynn “Eva” Kerr, one sister, Amy Hagan (Chris), nieces and nephews, Cameron Hagan (Frances), Hunter Hagan (Lilli Ann), Drew Hagan, and Mallory Hagan, his father -in- law and mother -in- law, Sammy and Lisa Southard, and sister -in- law, Haley Woods (Derek).</p>
<p>Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Friday January 30, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Eastwood Baptist Church Alvaton Campus.</p>
<p>A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, January 30, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM at Eastwood Baptist Church Alvaton Campus, followed by burial in the Bowling Green Gardens.</p>
<p>Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Eastwood Baptist Church Building Fund.</p>
<p>Pallbearers will be Chris Hagan, Cameron Hagan, Drew Hagan, Hunter Hagan, Derek Woods, Ian Miller, Michael Ramage, and Ryan Johnson.</p>

<p class="insideaddress"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Melinda was born in Clinton, Iowa and lived there most of her life before meeting the love of her life Thad. They married in 1981 and together they had two sons and three grandchildren. Melinda worked for Golden Corral since opening and was a devoted employee. She was a genuine sweet person to anyone she met. Thad commonly introduced her as “Miss Iowa 1980”. Melinda enjoyed hanging out with her “seesters” and looked forward to their annual trip to Nashville. </span></p>

<p class="insideaddress"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Melinda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thad McCormic of Corydon, KY; sons: Thaddeus “Michael” McCormic II of Evansville, IN and Justin McCormic of Henderson, KY; mother Lola Wilkens of Clinton, IA.; sisters: Corinna Foster (Tim) of Fulton, IL, Laura Wilkens and Debbie Wilkens both of Clinton, IA; brothers Rodney Wilkens of Ft. Myers, FL and Rob Wilkens of Clinton, IA; grandchildren: John Alexander “Alex”, Hannah Jayde and Aleah; as well as nieces and nephews. Melinda is also survived by her “seesters”: Kelly Westernan, Lisa Pippin, and Pam McCormic. </span></p>

<p class="insideaddress"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Melinda was preceded in death by her father Arnold Wilkens. </span></p>

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with Steve Hoskins officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date at Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, KY. </span></p>

		<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Florence Edith Joyner, age 91, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Sunday. January 18, 2026, at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice in Henderson, KY.</p>
<p>Edith worked alongside her husband, John, for 30 years in their concrete business, Henderson Concrete Step Company. When she wasn’t working, she and John would travel to their home at Barkley Lake and enjoyed their time fishing together. Edith loved the Lord and was active in her church, Covenant Community Church in Madisonville, KY. Some of her favorite times were going on mission work with her church family all over the United States and internationally as well.</p>
<p>Edith was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Lilly Mae Fedrick, husband John Logan Joyner, sister Sharon Coleman, and brother Ralph Fedrick.</p>
<p>Edith is survived by her daughter Alana Gail Green (Randall) of Henderson, KY; sons Keith Logan Joyner (Teresa) of Marco Island, FL and John Timothy Joyner of Henderson, KY; brother Donnie Fedrick (Faye) of Indiana; grandchildren: Alan Joyner (Amanda), Carrie Keller, Lori Pearcy, Tiffany Tapp (Gary), Heath Green (Melody), and Faith Marie Joyner; great grandchildren: Caleb, Conner, Cassidy, Morgan, Allie, Phillip (Athena), Logan, Levi (Mary), Paige(Tyler), Hannah (Noah), Wyatt, Lillian, and Allie Marie; great-great grandchildren: Luke, Walker, Axel, Able, Waylon, Baylor, and Vincente; nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>Relatives and friends are invited to Edith’s Life Celebration from 10:00 a.m. until service time on</p>
<p>Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Benton-Glunt &amp; Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.</p>
