The Kentucky Department of Education has released the Spring 2021 data collected from the Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA). Previously, these tests were called K-PREP – the Kentucky Performance Rating for Educational Progress. All students in grades 3 through 8 and grade 10 take reading and mathematics tests in the spring of each year. The other subjects are tested once per grade level (science in grades 4, 7 and 11 and on-demand writing in grades 5, 8 and 11).
“At the district and school level, data has been analyzed for strengths to celebrate and areas for growth and improvement. We look at what worked well, what can be improved, and how we can move forward to improve the educational outcomes for our students. Our goal in Henderson County Schools is to pursue excellence in all that we do.” Dr. Bob Lawson, Superintendent of Henderson County Schools.
