The free Tax Preparation Site at the Henderson Housing Authority is scheduled to open this Saturday, January 22 at 9:00 am. The Volunteer and Information Center, Housing Authority of Henderson, and Green River Asset Building Coalition collaborate to provide the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Henderson, KY. The service has announced it will have additional hours this year – Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon until 7 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am until noon. Free tax preparation services, including electronic filing, are available to incomes up to $72,000. All services are free.
