CHARLES WALTON TUCKER, JR.          88        OF HENDERSON

DIED TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11TH, AT HIS HOME UNDER THE CARE OF ST. ANTHONY’S HOSPICE.  HE WAS A PARATROOPER FOR THE 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION AND WORKED FOR 39 ½ YEARS FOR HENDERSON UNION RURAL ELECTRIC AS A LINEMAN AND RETIRED AS DISTRICT MANAGER FOR KENERGY IN MARION, KY.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS BROTHER, THOMAS TUCKER, AND HIS SISTER, MILDRED JOHNSON.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 65 YEARS                        GRETA TUCKER

HIS SON                                               CHARLES “CHUCK” TUCKER III BOTH OF HENDERSON

HIS DAUGHTER                                   KATHY GLOVER OF HOPKINSVILLE

7 GRANDCHILDREN

2 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN

A FUNERAL WILL BE HELD AT 1PM ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, AT BENTON GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME. 

REVEREND JODY HUGHES WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS

MILITARY HONORS WILL BE RENDERED BY THE AMERICAN LEGION WORSHAM POST #40

FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE INVITED TO CHARLES’ LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 10AM UNTIL SERVICE TIME ON MONDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

DIED THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, AT HER HOME.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBANDS, THOMAS H. COBB AND MALCOLM STEWART, HER BROTHERS, THOMAS IRA VANCLEAVE AND NEWTON VANCLEAVE JR., HER SISTERS, JEAN WILLIAMS, REGINA ADKINS AND ROSELEE VANCLEAVE, HER STEPSON, THOMAS H. COBB AND HER GRANDSON, CARL W. COBB II.
