ANNIE ELIZABETH LARUE TOWNSEND             87       OF CORYDON

DIED SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16TH, AT DEACONESS GATEWAY HOSPITAL.  SHE WORKED FOR DICKS FINER FOODS FOR MANY YEARS AND WAS ALSO HEAD COOK AT JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.  ANNIE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, HAROLD L. “LOUIE” TOWNSEND, AND HER SISTER,  PATSY BRADHAM.

DIED THURSDAY, OCTOBER 13TH, AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER UNDER THE CARE OF ST. ANTHONY’S HOSPICE.  HE WAS A UNITED STATES AIR FORCE VETERAN AND WAS A LONGTIME MEBER OF WALNUT HILL BAPTIST CHURCH.  FRANK WORKED AT METHODIST HOSPITAL FOR MANY YEARS.HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS 4 BROTHERS, 4 SISTERS, NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

HIS BROTHER                                   JAMES DAVID DIXON OF OKLAHOMA CITY, OK

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT NOON ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20TH, AT BENTON-GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME

PASTOR JOHN TRICE TAYLOR WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT FERNWOOD CEMETERY. 

MILITARY HONORS WILL BE RENDERED BY THE AMERICAN LEGION WORSHAM POST #40

FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE INVITED TO FRANK’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 11AM UNTIL THE SERVICE TIME ON THURSDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME

CHARLES “TOOTIE” BOURLAND             64       OF HENDERSON

DIED SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15TH, AT HIS HOME.  FOR THE LAST 46 YEARS, CHARLES HAS BEEN WORKING AT GIBBS DIE CASTING.  HE AND HIS WIFE FOUNDED AND CO-PASTORED THE FATHER’S HOUSE CHURCH FOR 17 YEARS AND SERVED IN THE JAIL AND PRISON MINISTRY.
