DAVID CARL SIEMERS                   74                   OF HENDERSON

DIED SATURDAY, JANUARY 7TH, AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER UNDER THE CARE OF ST. ANTHONY’S HOSPICE.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS FIRST WIFE, RUTH SIEMERS, AND HIS BROTHER, RAYMOND SIEMERS.  DAVID SERVED WITH THE UNITED STATES NAVY DURING THE VIETNAM WAR.  HE WAS A MECHANICAL ENGINEER AS WELL AS THE HOLDER OF MULTIPLE PATENTS.  DAVID RECEIVED HIS BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF EVANSVILLE IN 1994, AND HE WAS A MEMBER AND SERVED AS DEACON AT HENDERSON’S FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 1PM ON MONDAY, JANUARY 16TH, AT HENDERSON’S FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH.

REVEREND SAM HINKSON WILL OFFICIATE

FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE INVITED TO DAVID’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 10AM UNTIL SERVICE TIME MONDAY AT THE CHURCH.

DIED SATURDAY, JANUARY 7TH, AT DEACONESS HOSPITAL IN EVANSVILLE, IN.  SHE WAS A REGISTERED NURSE FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS IN THE PEDIATRIC UNIT AT THE FORMER METHODIST HOSPITAL.  MARCIA FAYE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, HUGH EDWARD WESTERFIELD, GRANDSON, MATTHEW RANDOLPH, AND ALL 11 OF HER SIBLINGS.

DIED TUESDAY, JANUARY 3RD, AT DEACONESS HENDERSON HOSPITAL.  SHE WAS A MEMBER OF HOLY NAME OF JESUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, AND  SHE WORKED AT REDBANKS NURSING HOME FOR SEVERAL YEARS.  SELINA WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER SISTERS, MARY POLLEY AND SHEILA HANCOCK.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE INVITIED TO SELINA’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 5PM-7PM ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11TH, AT BENTON-GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME.

BURIAL WILL BE HELD AT SMITH MILLS CEMETERY
