Police arrest Henderson man accused of trafficking meth and cocaine


Authorities have arrested a man accused of trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine.

The Henderson Joint Task Force and Kentucky State Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by 43-year-old Ronald Amos of Henderson in the 200 block of South Alves Street on Tuesday.

Amos was arrested on charges of trafficking in a first-degree controlled substance (second offense for greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine and trafficking in a first-degree controlled substance (second offense for greater than 4 grams of cocaine).

He was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $20,000 bond.
