Henderson County Colonels Senior Seth Galloway Commits to Berea College

On Wednesday afternoon, May 24th, Colonels senior baseball player Seth Galloway signed to continue his academic and athletic career for the Berea College Mountaineers.

Galloway talked about why Berea College was the best fit for him, “I love the coaches, I love the school. I went there (on) my first visit and it just felt like home and ever since then it has been a great community, great everything there.”

Galloway discussed his academic plans while attending Berea College, “I’m going to major in human health performance.” 

 

Galloway discussed how it feels to be officially signed to be a college baseball player now, “It feels like a dream, still can’t believe it.”

 

Galloway talked about who he wanted to thank that made this day possible, “All my coaches throughout the years. They really have helped me through everything and supported me through everything.”

 

Galloway discussed what attracted him to want to play college baseball at Berea College, “Just the coaches. I mean it felt like coaches, it felt like family. First off the bat and everything.”

 

In his senior year, Seth has recorded 5 runs scored, 9 hits, 7 RBI’s, 3 doubles, walked 15 times, 7 stolen bases and batting .209 with 43 at bats.
