UPDATE: Boil water advisory lifted for Reed customers

UPDATE: A boil water advisory for Reed customers has been lifted as of 2:10 p.m. Wednesday.

PREVIOUSLY:  The Henderson County Water District announced a water main break in the Reed area on Tuesday morning.

Everyone east of the Spottsville Bridge should boil their water until further notice.

A Henderson County Water District official said crews were on site to begin making repairs. She said the district will notify customers once the boil water advisory is lifted.
