The Lady Colonels suffer a 55-41 loss against the Pulaski County Lady Maroons at the Owensboro SportsCenter in the Independence Bank Kentucky-Indiana Classic.

The leading scorers for the Lady Maroons today were Mikee Buchanan with 26 points and 4 rebounds while Brooklyn Thomas had 7 points. Maggie Holt had 5 points and 5 rebounds while McKaila Monroe had 5 points and 4 rebounds. Madeline Butcher had 5 points while Hannah Murray had 4 points. To round out the scoring, Sydney Resch scored 3 points on the day.

The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels today were Brooklyn Gibson with 18 points and 12 rebounds while Allyson Rideout had 13 points and 4 rebounds. A’Tylia Green had 8 points and 3 rebounds while Addy Gish had 2 points and 3 rebounds on the night.

The Lady Maroons shot 10 for 14 (71%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels 7 for 11 (64%). The Lady Maroons shot 5 for 14 (36%) from behind the point line to the Lady Colonels 2 for 10 (20%). The Lady Maroons had a total of 22 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 29 total rebounds on the game. The Lady Maroons committed 20 turnovers to the Lady Colonels committing 31 turnovers on the night.

The Lady Colonels fall to (2-1) on the season while the Lady Maroons improve to (3-0).
