Colonels Hot Shooting Takes Care of Business on the Road

The Colonels came away with a 87-56 win against the Dawson Springs Panthers at Panther Gym in Dawson Springs.

The leading scorers for the Panthers tonight were Jaydon Plunkette with 17 points while Montgomery Johnston had 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists. Rex Blue had 14 points and 11 rebounds while Deacon Dever had 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. To round out the scoring, Casey Fain had 4 points and 5 rebounds on the night.

The leading scorers for the  Colonels tonight were Cooper Davenport with 27 points points while Nick Belle had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Dwaine Moss had 9 points while Alec Satterfield had 9 points and 9 assists. Elijah Suggs had 8 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks while Lacon McKinney had 6 points. Cole Branson had 5 points and 3 assists while Max Thompson had 4 points and 6 rebounds. Davin Parris had 3 points while Yussef Sanogo-Kendrick had 2 points. To round out the scoring, K.lay Hall scored 2 points on the night.

The Panthers shot 7 for 21 (33%) from the three point line to the Colonels 10 for 24 (42%). The Panthers shot 3 for 5 (60%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 5 for 6 (83%).  The Panthers had a total of 29 rebounds while the Colonels had 28 total rebounds on the game. The Panthers committed 18 turnovers to the Colonels committing 3 turnovers on the night.

The Colonels improve to (4-0) on the season while the Panthers fall to (5-2).
