The Henderson County Lady Colonels defeat the Evansville Memorial Lady Tigers 42-37  at the Owensboro SportsCenter in the Independence Bank Kentucky-Indiana Classic.

The leading scorers for the Lady Tigers tonight were Sophie Johnson with 10 points and 5 rebounds while Avery Kelley had 9 points and 6 rebounds. Rylee Canaan had 8 points while Myla Browing had 4 points. Jenna Herr scored 2 points while Laurel Kain had 2 points. To round out the scoring, Bryanna Alpers had 2 points on the night.

The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels tonight were Brooklyn Gibson with 17 points and 4 rebounds while A’Tylia Green had 12 points and 6 rebounds. Allyson Rideout scored 7 points and had 9 rebounds while Rashia Cansler had 2 points and 5 rebounds. JaNyla Locher had 2 points and 4 rebounds while Addy Gish had 2 points and 3 rebounds on the night.

The Lady Tigers shot 6 for 12 (50%) from the free throw line while the Lady Colonels shot 9 for 16 (56%). The Lady Tigers grabbed 25 total rebounds while the Lady Colonels grabbed 38 total rebounds. The Lady Tigers committed 14 turnovers while the Lady Colonels committed 17 turnovers on the night.

The Lady Colonels improve to (5-4) on the season while the Lady Tigers fall to (9-2).
