The Lady Colonels defeated the Edwards County, Illinois Lady Lions, 75-38  at the Owensboro SportsCenter in the Independence Bank Kentucky-Indiana Classic.

The leading scorers for the Lady Lions today were Grace Bishop with 15 points while Kyndal Richards had 7 points and 4 steals. Grace McCarty had 6 points and 3 rebounds while Lexi McKinney had 5 points. Lola Nussmeyer had 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists while Shayla Ewing had 2 points and 3 rebounds on the day.

The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels today were A’Tylia Green with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals while Allyson Rideout had 16 points. Brooklyn Gibson had 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals while Jersey Gardner had 10 points and 7 rebounds. Addy Gish had 7 points, 6 steals, and 6 assists while JaNyla Locher had 7 points and 3 steals. Rashia Cansler had 4 points and 4 rebounds while Azayah Hall had 2 points on the day.

The Lady Lions shot 7 for 12 (58%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels 5 for 5 (100%). The Lady Lions shot 1 for 6 (17%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels 8 for 19 (42%). The Lady Lions had a total of 23 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 31 total rebounds on the game. The Lady Lions recorded 8 assists and 7 steals while the Lady Colonels recorded 15 assists, 20 steals, and 2 blocks on the day. The Lady Lions committed 28 turnovers to the Lady Colonels committing 11 turnovers on the day.

The Lady Colonels improve to (6-4) on the season while the Lady Lions fall to (11-3).
