The Colonels came away with a 61-37 win against the Ballard Memorial Bombers at Colonel Gym in Henderson in the Faupel Automotive Chevy GMC Ford Colonel Basketball Classic.

The leading scorers for the Bombers tonight were Jace Briney with 17 points and 11 rebounds while Isaac Chandler had 13 points and 5 rebounds. Cole Ballard had 3 points while Konnor Myatt had 2 points. To round out the scoring, Keaton Over street had 2 points on the night.

The leading scorers for the Colonels tonight were Cooper Davenport with 12 points while Dwaine Moss had 8 points. Max Thompson had 7 points and 4 rebounds while Alec Satterfield had 7 points and 3 steals. Trajdon Davis had 5 points while Nick Belle had 4 points and 3 rebounds. Elijah Suggs had 4 points and 7 blocks while Jusef Sanogo Kendrick had 4 points. Jarren Byrum had 3 points while Amare Stewart had 3 points. Xavion Johnson had 2 points while Lacon McKinney had 2 points and 5 rebounds on the night.

The Bombers shot 3 for 16 (18%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 5 for 15 (33%). The Bombers shot 10 for 17 (58%) free throw line to the Colonels 10 for 17 (58%).  The Bombers had a total of 33 rebounds while the Colonels had 22 total rebounds. The Bombers committed 20 turnovers to the Colonels committing 7 turnovers on the night.

The Colonels improve to (10-1) on the season while the Bombers fall to (3-9).
