The Lady Colonels suffer a tough loss to the Bowling Green Lady Purples, 42-35 on the road in Bowling Green in the German American Bank Classic.

The leading scorers for the Lady Purples tonight was Ryleigh Campbell with 12 points while Katy Smiley had 9 points. JaSiyah Franklin had 9 points and 4 rebounds while JaKiah Mitchell had 4 points. Chloe Potter had 4 points while NaTajia Alexander had 2 points. To round out the scoring, Emma Macy had 2 points on the night.

The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels tonight was Allyson Rideout with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists while A’Tylia Green had 9 points and 3 steals. Brooklyn Gibson had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals while JaNyla Locher had 5 points and 3 steals. To round out the scoring, Addy Gish had 5 points, 2 assists, and 2 blocks on the night.

The Lady Purples shot 7 for 9 (77%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels 5 for 10 (50%). The Lady Purples shot 3 for 7 (42%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels 4 for 13 (30%). The Lady Purples had a total of 19 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 19 total rebounds on the game. The Lady Purples recorded 4 steals while the Lady Colonels recorded 5 assists, 9 steals, and 4 blocks on the night. The Lady Purples committed 16 turnovers to the Lady Colonels committing 12 turnovers on the night.

The Lady Colonels fall to (10-6) on the season while the Lady Purples improve to (9-3).
