The Colonels came away with a 60-58 win against the Christian County Colonels at Colonel Gym in Henderson.

The leading scorers for Christian County tonight was Jordan Miles with 22 points and 5 rebounds while Derrell Bateman had 20 points and 12 rebounds. JaSean Riley had 8 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals while Prince Northington had 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. Theolonius Quarles had 2 points while Kamren Williams had 1 point and 3 rebounds on the night.

The leading scorers for Henderson County tonight was Cooper Davenport with 10 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals while Alec Satterfield had 10 points, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Lacon McKinney had 8 points and 3 rebounds while Yusef Sanogo Kendrick had 8 points and 6 rebounds. Elijah Suggs had 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks while Max Thompson had 6 points. Nick Belle scored 5 points while Dwaine Moss added 3 points. Cole Branson had 2 points while Trajdon Davis scored 2 points on the night.

With Cooper Davenport’s first three pointer made early in this game, Davenport would surpass Kyle Chapman’s career three pointers made of 183. Davenport now is all alone on the all time career three pointers made in Henderson County school history with 185 threes made and counting.

Christian County shot 6 for 20 (30%) from the 3 point line to Henderson County 5 for 10 (50%). Christian County shot 10 for 13 (77%) free throw line to Henderson County 5 for 8 (63%). Christian County had a total of 29 rebounds while Henderson County had 19 total rebounds. Christian County committed 13 turnovers to Henderson County committing 17 turnovers on the night.

The Henderson County Colonels improve to (13-2) on the season while Christian County falls to (6-9).
