The Colonels would come away with a 21 point victory against the Webster County Trojans, 62-41, at Trojan Gym in Dixon.
The leading scorers for the Trojans tonight was Micah Austin with 12 points and 4 rebounds while Deshawn Murphy had 11 points and 4 rebounds. Jarvis Starks Scott had 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals while Evan Michalek had 3 points. Malakai Orcutt had 3 points while Reid McDyer had 2 points on the night.
The leading scorers for the Colonels tonight was Cooper Davenport with 13 points and 3 assists while Elijah Suggs had 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Lacon McKinney had 7 points and 3 rebounds while Alec Satterfield had 6 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Dwaine Moss had 6 points while Yusef Sanogo-Kendrick had 6 points and 3 rebounds. Max Thompson scored 4 points while Nick Belle added 3 points. Amare Stewart had 3 points while Jack Ryan Reusch had 2 points. To round out the scoring, Cole Branson had 2 points on the night.
The Trojans shot 5 for 15 (33%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 5 for 12 (42%). The Trojans shot 8 for 12 (67%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 3 for 4 (75%). The Trojans had a total of 21 rebounds while the Colonels had 28 total rebounds. The Trojans committed 12 turnovers to the Colonels committing 10 turnovers on the night.
The Colonels improve to (15-3) on the season while the Trojans fall to (11-8).
