The Colonels would come away with a 5 point victory against the Lyon County Lyons, 78-73, on the road Lyon Gym in Eddyville.

The leading scorers for the Lyons tonight was Travis Perry with 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals while Brady Shoulders had 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Carson Collins had 10 points and 4 steals while Bray Kirk had 8 points and 5 rebounds. Lukas Breedlove had 5 points and 4 rebounds while Isaac Defew had 4 points. Luke Burchett had 3 points while Cooper Collins had 1 point and 3 rebounds on the night.

The leading scorers for the Colonels tonight was Cooper Davenport with a career high 33 points along with 3 rebounds while Dwaine Moss had 12 points and 3 rebounds. Nick Belle had 9 points while Elijah Suggs had 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Alec Satterfield had 5 points, 11 assists, and 3 rebounds while Lacon McKinney had 4 points. Yusef Sanogo-Kendrick had 4 points and 5 rebounds while Max Thompson scored 3 points on the night.

Cooper Davenport tied a school record for three pointers made in a single game with 8, tying Bryce Crowley vs Daviess County in 2015 (with 8) and Holden Raley vs North Hardin in 2018 (with 8).

The Lyons shot 4 for 21 (19%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 10 for 17 (59%). The Lyons shot 25 for 30 (83%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 12 for 15 (80%). The Lyons had a total of 32 rebounds while the Colonels had 26 total rebounds. The Lyons recorded 12 steals, 7 assists, and 3 blocks to the Colonels recording 18 assists, 7 steals, and 7 blocks. The Lyons committed 10 turnovers to the Colonels committing 18 turnovers on the night.

The Colonels improve to (17-3) on the season while the Lyons fall to (20-3).
