Henderson Ended First Half on 21-2 Run

The Lady Colonels came away with a 21 point win over the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons, 56-35, on the  road at Don Parsons Court and Maroon Gym in Madisonville.

The leading scorers for the Lady Maroons tonight was SaNya Carney with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 steals while Bryanne Johnson had 5 points. Destiny Whitsell had 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists while Macy Wright had 3 points. Taylor Nelson had 2 points while Kaytee Parish had 2 points. Riley Sword had 2 points and 4 rebounds while Kailey Barber scored 2 points on the night.

The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels tonight was Brooklyn Gibson with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists while Addy Gish had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Allyson Rideout had 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists while A’Tylia Green had 10 points, 4 steals, and 3 rebounds. Rashia Cansler had 3 points and 3 assists while Anna Kemp had 2 points on the night.

The Lady Maroons shot 4 for 10 (40%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels 2 for 6 (33%). The Lady Maroons shot 1 for 6 (17%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels 4 for 19 (21%). The Lady Maroons had a total of 25 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 34 total rebounds on the game. The Lady Colonels recorded 18 assists, 14 steals, and 2 blocks. The Lady Maroons committed 18 turnovers to the Lady Colonels committing 13 turnovers on the night.

The Lady Colonels improve to (15-6) on the season while the Lady Maroons fall to (11-9).
