The Colonels would come away with a 6 point win against the Webster County Trojans, 41-35, in overtime at home at Colonel Gym on Senior night.
The leading scorers for the Trojans tonight was Evan Michalek with 10 points while Malakai Orcutt had 9 points and 4 rebounds. Deshawn Murphy had 6 points and 3 assists while Micah Austin had 6 points. To round out the scoring, Luke Garrard had 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals on the night.
The leading scorers for the Colonels tonight was Lacon McKinney with 12 points along with 9 rebounds while Cooper Davenport had 11 points. Elijah Suggs had 4 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 blocks while Alec Satterfield had 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Max Thompson had 4 points and 3 rebounds while Dwaine Moss had 3 points. Trajdon Davis had 2 points while Yusef Sanogo-Kendrick scored 1 point on the night.
The Trojans shot 5 for 18 (28%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 1 for 14 (7%). The Trojans shot 2 for 4 (50%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 10 for 15 (67%). The Trojans had a total of 33 rebounds while the Colonels had 23 total rebounds. The Trojans recorded 8 steals and 10 assists to the Colonels recording 6 assists, 5 steals, and 5 blocks. The Trojans committed 13 turnovers to the Colonels committing 10 turnovers on the night.
The Colonels improve to (19-3) on the season while the Trojans fall to (12-11).
