The Colonels would come away with a 27 point win against the Union County Braves, 71-44, on the road at Dr Doug Hines Gym in Morganfield.
The leading scorers for the Braves tonight was Cale Johnson with 13 points while Cameron Miller had 13 points and 6 rebounds. Daishawn Curry had 8 points and 4 rebounds while Cortayvion Rapier had 4 points and 3 rebounds. Jaidyn Wilson scored 3 points and grabbed 6 rebounds while Jarren Johnson added 2 points. To round out the scoring, Caedyn Word scored 1 point on the night.
The leading scorers for the Colonels tonight was Cooper Davenport with 18 points while Lacon McKinney had 16 points and 6 rebounds. Alec Satterfield had 12 points and 5 rebounds while Max Thompson had 8 points and 2 blocks. Dwaine Moss had 7 points while Yusef Sanogo-Kendrick had 3 points and 4 rebounds. Braden Williams had 2 points and 3 rebounds while Cole Branson scored 2 points. Trajdon Davis scored 2 points while Elijah Suggs had 1 point, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks on the night.
The Braves shot 3 for 12 (25%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 2 for 10 (20%). The Braves shot 12 for 16 (75%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 11 for 17 (64%). The Braves had a total of 31 rebounds while the Colonels had 36 total rebounds. The Braves committed 18 turnovers to the Colonels committing 9 turnovers on the night.
The Colonels improve to (20-3) on the season while the Braves fall to (11-12).
