The Lady Colonels came away with a dominant 37 point win over the McLean County Lady Cougars, 66-29, at home at Colonel Gym.
The leading scorers for the Lady Cougars tonight was Kenadi Level with 7 points while Anna Miller had 7 points. Rachel Ring had 6 points while Katie McCoy had 5 points and 5 rebounds. Danielle Reynolds scored 2 points while Taliana Groves added 2 points on the night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels tonight was Allyson Rideout with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 steals while Brooklyn Gibson had 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. A’Tylia Green had 6 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals while Rashia Cansler had 6 points and 4 rebounds. Anna Kemp had 5 points and 6 rebounds while Addy Gish had 4 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Azayah Hall added 3 points while Bella Estabrook scored 3 points. JaNyla Locher had 3 points while Jersey Gardner added 2 points and 3 rebounds on the night.
The Lady Cougars shot 1 for 4 (25%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels 10 for 11 (91%). The Lady Cougars shot 4 for 11 (36%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels 6 for 27 (22%). The Lady Cougars had a total of 19 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 40 total rebounds in the game. The Lady Colonels recorded 18 steals, 16 assists, and 3 blocks. The Lady Cougars committed 26 turnovers to the Lady Colonels committing 11 turnovers on the night.
The Lady Colonels improve to (19-6) on the season while the Lady Cougars fall to (7-14).
