HCC adds two new staff members


HENDERSON, Ky. – Henderson Community College has added two new staff members.

Katy Blohm-Jenkins recently joined HCC as a technical program coordinator. In this role, Blohm-Jenkins will be an academic advisor for students in the Computer & Information Technology program. She will also be a liaison for local industries.

She most recently served as workforce development facilitator for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, specializing in assisting the state’s unemployed citizens overcome barriers. A native of Madisonville, Blohm-Jenkins has lived in Henderson since 2018. She is a graduate of Murray State University.

Kelli Franks has joined HCC as a human resources assistant. In addition to supporting HR functions like payroll and benefits, she will also assist Chief Academic Officer Mike Knecht.

Franks has 10 years of HR experience, most recently at Anderson Capital Partners in Evansville.

She is a Henderson native who graduated from HCC with an AAS in Business Administration.
