The Lady Colonels suffered a 10 point loss over the Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces, 73-63, at home at Colonel Gym.
The leading scorers for the Lady Aces was Jenna Krampe with 23 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals while Delaney Cooper had 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Hailee Johnson had 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks while Aubrey Randolph had 7 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Karmin Riley added 6 points and 5 assists while Katie Hagan scored 2 points on the night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels was Brooklyn Gibson with 28 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals while A’Tylia Green had 17 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. Allyson Rideout had 14 points and 10 rebounds while Anna Kemp had 2 points and 3 assists. To round out the scoring, Addy Gish added 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists on the night.
The Lady Aces shot 16 for 18 (89%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels 5 for 9 (56%). The Lady Aces shot 3 for 16 (19%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels 4 for 20 (20%). The Lady Aces had a total of 34 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 35 total rebounds in the game. The Lady Aces recorded 17 assists, 15 steals, and 3 blocks while the Lady Colonels recorded 12 steals, 21 assists, and 4 blocks. The Lady Aces committed 17 turnovers to the Lady Colonels committing 20 turnovers on the night.
The Lady Colonels fall to (20-7) on the season while the Lady Aces improve to (23-4).
