The Lady Colonels came away with a 38 point win over the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm, 71-33, at home at Colonel Gym tonight in the final regular season game.
The leading scorers for the Lady Storm was Calajia Mason with 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals while Kenzleigh Harrison had 7 points. Tyah White had 4 points and 7 rebounds while Shia White had 4 points. To round out the scoring, Addie Menser added 2 points on the night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels was Brooklyn Gibson with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals while Addy Gish had 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. A’Tylia Green had 12 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals while Allyson Rideout had 11 points and 7 rebounds. JaNyla Locher had 4 points while Callie Burnett had 4 points. Bella Estabrook scored 2 points while Jersey Gardner added 2 points. Anna Kemp tallied 2 points and 3 rebounds while Raylee Stanley scored 1 point on the night.
The Lady Storm shot 9 for 14 (64%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels 8 for 12 (67%). The Lady Storm shot 2 for 9 (22%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels 7 for 26 (27%). The Lady Storm had a total of 26 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 34 total rebounds in the game. The Lady Colonels recorded 11 steals, 15 assists, and 3 blocks. The Lady Storm committed 30 turnovers to the Lady Colonels committing 13 turnovers on the night.
The Lady Colonels improve to (21-7) on the season while the Lady Storm fall to (17-13).
