The Union County Bravettes came away with a 23 point win over the Webster County Lady Trojans, 49-26, at Colonel Gym in the semifinals of the 6th District Tournament.
The leading scorers for the Bravettes was Annie Beaven with 21 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals while Dana Curry had 11 points and 3 rebounds. Lillian Goodloe had 8 points and 4 rebounds while Paige Steward had 4 points and 6 rebounds. Paisley Eckman scored 3 points while Bri Bell added 2 points on the night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Trojans was Jaycie Wright with 11 points while Karsyn Cates had 7 points and 4 steals. Tanner Pearcy had 6 points and 5 rebounds while Kaylyn Braden scored 2 points on the night.
The Bravettes shot 10 for 11 (91%) from the free throw line to the Lady Trojans 9 for 11 (82%). The Bravettes shot 5 for 12 (42%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Trojans 1 for 11 (9%). The Bravettes had a total of 33 rebounds while the Lady Trojans had 17 total rebounds in the game. The Bravettes recorded 7 assists, 6 steals, and 4 blocks while the Lady Trojans recorded 9 steals, 4 assists, and 2 blocks. The Bravettes committed 15 turnovers to the Lady Trojans committing 11 turnovers on the night.
The Bravettes improve to (14-12) on the season while the Lady Trojans season ends with a (4-27) record.
