Junior Achievement of West Kentucky to host "Miss Business" Event

HENDERSON, KY–Junior Achievement of West Kentucky will host the inaugural Miss Business Event on Wednesday, March 6th at the Preston Arts Center on the campus of Henderson Community College.

The JA Miss Business event will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is a unique opportunity designed to help 8th-grade girls in Henderson, Union, and Webster Counties expand their horizons and inspire them to pursue their dreams and goals. Over 30 professional women representing a variety of businesses and organizations in the community will serve as volunteers and will share their career and life paths with the students.

There will be a series of engaging workshops, interactive sessions, and mentorship opportunities throughout the day. Participants will gain invaluable insights into various aspects of entrepreneurship, leadership, and career advancement.

“Through Miss Business, we hope to ignite a passion for entrepreneurship and empower young women to pursue their ambitions with confidence and determination. This event is designed to connect our future leaders with successful, professional, women eager to share what they know with the next generation.” Autumne Baker, Vice President of Area Operations.
