A bridge repair crew will conduct maintenance on the Second Street Overpass over the CSX railroad, resulting in a temporary eastbound driving lane restriction.
The repair will focus on replacing a bridge joint with an extended window allocated for concrete curing before the bridge can be safely reopened to traffic.
Scheduled from April 1 to April 5, the repair work coincides with Henderson County schools’ spring break to minimize commuter disruptions.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and allow for additional travel time to accommodate the lane restrictions.
