UPDATE: Boil water advisory lifted for Broadview Subdivision

UPDATE: Henderson County Water District has lifted the boil water advisory for customers in Broadview Subdivision on U.S. 60-E in Henderson County.

This area includes all of Ernest Lane, Chris Avenue, Jason Avenue and Holmes Avenue. Customers may resume normal use.

Henderson County Water District has issued a boil water advisory until further notice for all of Broadview Subdivision on U.S. 60-East. The boil water advisory includes Ernest Lane, Chris Avenue, Jason Avenue and Holmes Avenue.

Henderson County Water District Superintendent Mark Julian said the district was working on a water main break in Broadview Subdivision on Thursday afternoon. Once water is restored, Julian advised customers run a 5 to 10-minute flush at all their taps and throw away all ice.

Boil all water used for human consumption for 3-5 minutes until further notice. Bacteriological samples will be taken and depending on lab availability when results are available customers will be notified when the boil water advisory is lifted.
