MADISONVILLE, Ky. (April 17, 2024) – A routine bridge inspection of the Audubon Parkway bridge over the Green River at the Henderson and Daviess County line will result in lane restrictions and potential traffic delays on Monday and Tuesday, April 22 and 23.
Motorists should expect lane restrictions in both directions between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day to allow inspectors to safely access the structure. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will also be using under bridge inspection vehicles and unmanned aircraft to inspect some of the more hard to reach sections of the bridge.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
