Gillham named Chamber of Commerce President

The Henderson Chamber of Commerce has announced that Clay Gillham is its new president.

The announcement follows an extensive three-month search process to find the successor for Lyndsay Locasto, who left to take a job with the City of Evansville.

“I’m honored to be entrusted with this role and thrilled to start this next chapter with the Chamber,” Gillham said of the selection. “We have such a great team, and lots of momentum to build on. I’m grateful to the Board for this opportunity, and excited to continue serving our members and working with our excellent community partners.”

Gillham has served in her current position as the Chamber’s Downtown Events and Communication Coordinator for just over two years. In this role, she’s promoted Downtown businesses and helped organize community events including the Independence Day Fireworks Celebration, Porchfest and Market on Main.

Henderson Chamber Chairperson Eric Gardner said, “We couldn’t be more excited to see Clay named as the Chamber President and look forward to many years ahead with her leadership in advancing the business community in Henderson.”

She is a Henderson native, and a graduate of the University of Kentucky. Gillham resides in Henderson with her husband, their 4-month-old daughter, Jett, and their dog Tuck.

Gillham officially begins her new role on Monday, April 29th.
