HENDERSON, Ky. – Henderson Community College has announced its upcoming celebrations of student success. All events will be held on Friday, May 3 at the Preston Arts Center on the HCC campus.
- HCC FAME Graduation Celebration – 11:30 a.m.
- Nursing Pinning Ceremony – 2 p.m.
- Medical Lab Technician Pinning Ceremony – 3:30 p.m.
- Spring Commencement Ceremony – 7 p.m.
According to HCC Associate Registrar Tammie Zuber, 162 students have applied for 262 credentials, including 112 two-year degrees, 134 certificates and 16 diplomas. The total number of two-year degrees to be awarded is an increase of 38 percent compared to one year ago.
“These events allow HCC’s faculty and staff to recognize our students’ accomplishments as they begin their new careers or continue their education,” stated Dean of Student Affairs & Registrar Dr. Chad Phillips. “As an institution, we are so proud of what these students have accomplished during their time at HCC and look forward to sharing their future professional and academic successes.”
The Spring Commencement Ceremony will be streamed live on the HCC Facebook page.
